Aviation policy in its broadest contest encompasses all elements of the government’s policy to allow the aviation sector to continue to make a significant contribution to economic growth across the country. It sets out government’s objectives on the issues which will challenge and support the development of aviation and provides guidance on important issues such as:
- Traffic rights;
- Airport development and in particular development of regional airports;
- Airspace development;
- Safety and security;
- Managing aviation’s environmental impact, ie. aircraft noise and emission;
- Protecting passengers’ rights.
Keld Ludvigsen has high level executive experience in these areas from:
- Responsible in many years for the bilateral traffic rights agreements between Denmark and other States, aviation security in Denmark, aviation’s environmental impact and passengers’ rights in accordance with EU legislation;
- One of the main architects behind the State Agreement and the Authority Agreement governing the Danish Swedish Functional Airspace Block;
- Acting head of the Danish delegation at ICAO General Assembly in 2013 and in 2016 when the Assembly negotiated and approved the resolution on a Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA).
